Gospel Lick Library

Gospel Piano — Beginner

Six lessons: gospel by numbers and the Cycle of Fifths, major and minor pentatonic scales, slash chords and passing notes, the blues scale and blues licks, passing chords, and gospel licks — because improvising doesn't mean guessing.

Gospel Piano — Intermediate

Six lessons: upper extensions round the Cycle of Fifths, rootless voicings, drop 2 chords, diminished scales and gospel diminished movements, modes and alternate scales, and improvising with intention.
